Blue moon shines around the world – PhotoBlog

Did ya’ll catch that beautiful blue moon last night? I love that one of the ways Neil Armstrong’s family suggested we honor his passing was by winking at the moon–which I did last night. My picture of the moon didn’t show up very clear, but this one does the job. It will be a while before we see another blue moon. Bill Ingalls caught this sweet photo after the memorial ceremony for Neil Armstrong. Thanks, Bill.

Bill Ingalls / NASA photographer Bill Ingalls, who was in Cincinnati to take pictures during Apollo 11 moonwalker Neil Armstrongs family memorial ceremony on Aug. 31, snapped this picture of the “blue moon” hanging over the Queen Citys skyline. See some
